Applying for Advertisers in you CJ Publisher Account
Undestand it with following diagram:
CJ.COM->Publisher(you)->Advertiser
After become an publisher through following above method,now Its time to get Advertisers.
Our immediate task is to get the advertisers for which we can do promotions on the internet.Just to remind you that we need advertisers as we don't have any product of our own to promote on the internt.
There are hundereds of merchants in CJ.com interface for which we can do promotion work.you can do work for one merchant or for more than one merchant.It is totally up to you.
Points to remember while selecting advertisers:-
1.Proper selection of merchant is very important.Always concentrate on maximum 1-2 merchants at a time.
2.Plan what you want to promote and where you want to promote.Think/check wheather your target segment is appropriate for the type of product you have shortlisted.
3.If you are going for merchant who deals with physical products that require shipping ,check the feasibility,in your target segment.for ex...a person in India won't prefer ordering a physical product from a website based in US ,until and unless he has no other local alternatives.
4.Though it is not mandatory,but from a long term perspective,it is advisable to plan your work around a website or ablog.In future you can further monetize the same using AD serving options like Google Adsense.You can refer our section "website or not" for more details on the same.Also check the section "case studies".
